Nestled in the Little Applegate Valley, Yale Creek Ranch offers meat to people who want to buy local, prefer to know the farmer that raises their food, and are committed to consuming meat that is humanely raised without any hormones or antibiotics. It is also for people who love great tasting meat! Yale Creek Ranch is certified organic and Salmon-Safe. All of our animals are fed organic feed and managed in a humane manner that exceeds organic standards. We raise grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured poultry and pork, and free range meat goats. We also produce vegetable seed and native perennials.
At Yale Creek Ranch, we are committed to the stewardship of our land for our livestock and crops, the native plants and wildlife that make their homes here, our children and grandchildren, and you.
Our cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and chickens are raised on certified organic perennial pastures using a rotational grazing system that ensures they always have fresh, nutritious forage. This system mimics grazing patterns of wild herbivores like deer or elk. Pigs and chickens rotate through seed fields, benefiting from surplus vegetable production, "hogging off" seed corn fields and fertilizing the soil.

The Yale Creek Ranch nursery produces perennial trees, shrubs, and groundcovers. We specialize in southern Oregon natives, great for landscaping or wildlife habitat enhancement projects. We work to restore native streams and woodlands on the ranch, and provide seedlings for restoration projects throughout the valley.
